I am a visual storyteller.
I help Portland area families preserve their memories with custom photography that captures their unique story and authentic connection.
With over 10 years experience as a mother, labor and delivery and post-partum nurse, and photographer, I am especially passionate about photographing families during their transition into parenthood. These fleeting days, months, and years are full of little moments that create the story of your life and deserve to be documented artistically. From empowering births to sweet newborn details, playful children and all the perfectly imperfect chaos in between; I love to capture it all and will help you transform your memories into family art that you can enjoy today and pass on to future generations.
Knitting is another creative pursuit of mine. I enjoy knitting diapers covers and hats for the newborns I photograph.
In addition to being a photographer, I have been a Labor and Delivery RN for 12 years, caring for families and newborns.
I’m a naturally quiet person, but am also adventurous and a bit of a risk taker. I like to muck about in nature and go exploring with my husband and three children. Ella, our dog, likes to tag along, too.
My family lives on a little 1/3 acre that we are slowly transforming into our own garden of eaten’ using permaculture methods.
I feel most centered when I am in, on, or near the water.
It is a goal of mine to get in more photos with my children. Is this a goal of yours as well? I would love to help you with that!
