I am a visual storyteller.

My passion for photography stems from a deep-seated need to create beautiful art while at the same time documenting the everyday moments that comprise the story of our lives. When I am looking through my lens, my heart does a little flutter when I capture a genuine connection, and I can hardly wait to get home to work with the image to highlight the emotion through my editing.

The portraits I produce are reflective of the beautiful Pacific Northwest with deep, earthy tones that give them a timeless feel. My work has been described as transporting, luminous, and emotive, with great clarity.

More about me...

Knitting is another creative pursuit of mine. I enjoy knitting diapers covers and hats for the newborns I photograph.

In addition to being a photographer, I have been a Labor and Delivery RN for 12 years, caring for families and newborns.

I’m a naturally quiet person, but am also adventurous and a bit of a risk taker. I like to muck about in nature and go exploring with my husband and three children. Ella, our dog, likes to tag along, too.

My family lives on a little 1/3 acre that we are slowly transforming into our own garden of eaten’ using permaculture methods.

I feel most centered when I am in, on, or near the water.

It is a goal of mine to get in more photos with my children. Is this a goal of yours as well? I would love to help you with that!

Call me to chat about your photography needs, or do some light stalking on Instagram to see what I have been up to.
